With the CMC Tracker platform’s web access, you can easily access the global financial markets from your computer via all the popular browsers. There’s no need to download and install any software. Simply log in to your CFD account to start trading.

Advanced risk management
Set risk-management features from the order ticket: stop losses close out a position at a specified price to limit losses, trailing stop losses lock in profits by moving in the same direction as price when it moves favourably, and take profit orders close transactions at a preset profit level. Or the platform can suggest a transaction-based stop loss for each position. NB Your specified target price may not be guaranteed due to market conditions.
Advanced charts
Access real-time dynamic charts with up to 5 years’ history. Customise with multiple chart types and over 60 technical indicators. View live trades, and edit orders by dragging stop loss and take profit levels up or down. Place a trade on a product direct from the chart – just click the buy/sell price to open an order ticket and set risk-management orders. NB Charting tools are indicative only – don’t rely on them for investment advice.
Order types
Two order types to choose from when you open a position: market orders let you open or close a position at the current market price, and limit orders let you enter a transaction at a predetermined price within a specified time frame. So you can tell the platform to only open a position for you when the price hits a certain level, and specify when this order will expire. NB Your specified target price may not be guaranteed due to market conditions.
Factsheets
We have put together handy Factsheets for every product in our product library. Everything you will want to know about currencies, commodities, indices and companies are covered, from the basics (like trading hours, margin rates and spreads) through to real-time news and some insights on how a variety of other market forces may influence prices.
Watchlists
Take more control of your investing by creating and personalising your own watchlists so you can easily monitor the performance of the products you’re interested in. Simply drag and drop prices into an existing watchlist, or create a new one directly from the product library. To personalise them even further you can change the colour of the title bar and easily reorder lists by dragging the products up or down into a new position.
News and analysis
Get breaking news from around the globe, with the Dow Jones Newswires service streamed live into the platform. Our team of market analysts, in conjunction with Dow Jones Newswires, write updates throughout the day on market activity, breaking news and big announcements. Our short, sharp updates cover general market conditions, companies in focus, economic and company announcements, commodities and FX news.
Customisable leverage
Dial the amount of initial margin up or down on each transaction. Pay for the whole position yourself, or ‘borrow’ most of the funds to open the position from us – you choose. On the CMC Tracker platform, this is called customisable financing. Overnight financing fees, charged daily, apply on the ‘borrowed’ amount only. If you pay for the whole position, overnight costs don’t apply. NB Leverage can enhance profits as well as losses.
Portfolio mixer
Bring your favourite commodities, indices, currencies and stocks together and see how they perform in different market conditions. Drag and drop products into the mixer to combine, choose a weighting for each, and follow the chart. To enhance and refine the mix, you can change weightings, add or remove products, even sell rather than buy. You can even compare past performance of your portfolio and products.

Fractional ownership
We’ve made it easier for you to allocate your assets by letting you buy and sell CFDs in dollar amounts as well as in units. So if you want to allocate exactly $10,000 of your cash to trade BHP, for example, you can: you don’t have to purchase whole shares. It’s a new standard in precision and effective asset allocation.
Drag and drop library
Find products you’re interested in quickly and easily in our product library. Sort our extensive range with our straightforward navigation menu – browse by product type, sector, region, country, performance or volatility. If you know what you’re looking for, simply type the product name, ticker code or nickname into the search box. When you’ve found the product you want to trade, just drag and drop it onto your dashboard or into a watchlist.
Create your own trading dashboard
Click once to pick up and move anything on your screen to create your own customised layout. Found something you want to trade? Drag and drop to create a quote panel and you’re ready to go. Want to monitor gold and oil? Drag them into your watchlist and you’re done. Fancy a chart? Just drag and drop to add it in.
Your CFD account
All your account details are available in real time, all the time. You can view your account value, margin, open positions, orders, profit or loss, and a full account history. You can also keep a close eye on all of your open positions and follow their performance easily through your account.
